Shedid and Parrish was founded by Chief Hair Person, Jessica Parrish.
"I think I have had a clear vision for a while now: to change the way we see, service and celebrate curly & textured hair. I was a mixed raced child adopted into a Caucasian family. It was very difficult finding products, services and knowledge for my hair type. It had a significant impact on my confidence not seeing my hair type reflected back around me. As I grew older, I began to experiment on my own and slowly learned to love my curls, in fact the bigger the better!"
